What a Drag!

version 1.0 (Windows Media Player 9 skin archive)

In normal operation, What a Drag! has no visible user interface: instead, it recognizes mouse gestures (e.g., drag right to play, left to pause) and keyboard accelerators. All you see is the video; or, for an audio-only program, either the visualization or a sizeable icon.

The Playlist window is designed to make it easy to update the currently playing song schedule without interruption; you can update either the currently playing list or a separate working playlist using set operations by album, artist, genre or playlist, filter tracks by rating, move or remove tracks and add the working playlist tracks to the current playlist.

To install a Windows Media Player 9 skin, download the skin archive and then double-click the file you saved (which will have the extension .wmz). To examine or modify the source code you can open the archive with WinZip. I presume this skin will work with Windows Media Player versions later than 9; I’m fairly sure it won’t work with older versions of Windows Media Player.
