Numbers
Numbers is a calculator for Windows designed to be quick and easy to use while working on other things. It fits in a small window that can be made to stay on top while cutting and pasting between the calculator and a document, data entry screen, etc. It uses much of the familiar notation of standard equations, and it can display results as decimals or fractions, in scientific notation, in unsigned or two’s complement hexadecimal notation, or in degrees or hours, minutes and seconds.
To use Numbers you just type the expression you want to evaluate; the result is automatically displayed. Numbers includes comprehensive Help which explains its operation and features.
version 2.0 build 10 (install package for Win32; 447KB)
Also available: C++ source archive (271KB)
The first 32-bit release of Numbers adds many features including multi-step undo, system status area (“system tray”) support and a financial calculator.

version 1.0a (zip archive for Win16; 136KB)
Also available: C++ source archive (50KB)This version was written for Windows 3.x; it appears to function reasonably well in Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows 2000 also; I’m not certain how, or if, it behaves in Windows ME or Windows XP. It is not self-installing: the README.TXT file included in the zip archive explains how to set it up manually.
